My practice comprises of a combination of Child Protection and Family Law. Being a child of divorced parents, I understand on a personal level the trauma that divorce and separation bring to families and children in particular. My advice to clients is, when appropriate, always children-focused, with a sensitivity to the particular circumstances of the family. As Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina opens: “All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.” No two families or family cases are the same, and I strive to bring to each of my client tailor-made advice and representation to guide them through this process.

Prior to joining Tammy Law Professional Corporation, I started my career articling and working for another respected family lawyer in Toronto. Thereafter, I changed course and practiced corporate law in Asia, focusing on international mergers and acquisitions, with particular interest in offshore wind farm development projects. My corporate background, when combined with my knowledge of family law, can ensure that cases involving complex property and asset tracing issues are competently dealt with.
