My practice focuses primarily on Child Protection and Family Law. I understand the immense amount of trust it takes to involve a lawyer in one’s family and personal affairs. For this reason, I strive to be open, empathetic, and approachable. I have represented clients from a diverse set of circumstances and understand that no two families are the same. I recognize the importance of crafting flexible, individualized solutions which balance a client’s various priorities and goals – both interpersonal and financial. I can support my clients in collaborative decision-making processes, or act as a fierce advocate and litigator.

As a panel member with the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, I have extensive experience advocating for the rights of children in child protection and family matters. I bring this child-focused approach to my practice. I recognize that parents and caregivers navigating these legal systems have unique and important insights into their children’s needs and interests.

Prior to joining Tammy Law Professional Corporation, I worked as in-house counsel at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, practicing exclusively in the areas of child protection and family law. I have previously acted as a volunteer caseworker with Downtown Legal Services’ Refugee Law Clinic, representing families and children, often facing intersecting family law and immigration issues.
